A SMALLER LIST. A STEADIER ROUTINE.
Make a plan for the week
you actually have.
A useful cleaning schedule starts with your available time. Pick the rooms you use, choose the days you can clean, and give each session a firm limit. Then edit the estimates to reflect the size and condition of your home.
The generator gives your priority room first choice, then considers quick essentials before other weekly jobs. It tries one visit of each task before adding repeats, and keeps repeat visits on different days. It puts each task on a day with the most time left. Some time may stay unused when the next whole task cannot fit.
These are a manageable routine’s starting points. Add your own tasks for dishes, extra bathrooms, pet cleanup, or other needs. Machine cycles and unattended waiting are not included in the laundry presets. Include any setup or waiting time you need in your estimates.
Four days.
One lighter week.
15 minutes × 4 days = 60 minutes available.
- 01 Start with the spaces that matter most.
- 02 Stop when your session is done.
- 03 Give larger jobs a separate block of time.
For a cleaning schedule for working full time, try two short weekday sessions and two weekend sessions. Adjust until it feels repeatable.

Can I make a 15 minute cleaning schedule?
Yes. Set the session limit to 15 minutes and choose your cleaning days. Every planned session stays at or below 15 minutes based on your estimates. Tasks that cannot fit appear separately, with a reason.
How do I make a cleaning schedule for working full time?
Choose only the days you can realistically clean, including weekends if they suit you. Start with a short session limit and prioritize the room that matters most. Use the not-scheduled list to decide what to simplify, rotate, or leave for another week.
Are these cleaning times guaranteed?
No. The time cap applies to your task estimates, not a stopwatch prediction. Presets are starting points for one room or one load. Edit them for your home and include setup, putting supplies away, and any waiting time that needs your attention.
What happens to larger jobs?
Rotation tasks stay outside your weekly time budget. Choose one when you have a separate block of time, or change its frequency to include it in a future weekly plan. An oversized weekly task also stays unscheduled until you give it enough time or split it into smaller tasks yourself.
Can I edit and print my cleaning routine?
Yes. Edit task names, minutes, and frequency; add your own tasks; and move scheduled tasks between available days without exceeding the limit. Print your weekly checklist, unscheduled tasks, and rotation together, or choose Save as PDF in your browser’s print dialog.
Does my schedule save or sync with Storey?
Your plan stays in this browser tab and is lost when you reload or close it. Print or save a PDF to keep it. You can manually create a recurring home-reset habit in Storey; the detailed checklist does not transfer.
