Anything at all — a bug, a question, or a feature you wish existed.

In the app

Send feedback

Open the Profile tab and tap Send feedback. It opens a pre-addressed email so you don't have to look anything up.

To help us fix things fast, include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and the build number shown at the bottom of the Profile tab.

Trouble signing in

Storey offers two ways in: Sign in with Apple and a six-digit code sent to your email. Both create the same kind of account, but they are separate identities — if you first signed in with Apple, sign in with Apple again rather than switching to email, or you'll land in a new, empty city.

The email code never arrived. Check your spam folder first. If it still hasn't shown up, the fastest way in is Continue with Apple — it works instantly and needs no email at all. Codes expire after a few minutes, so request a fresh one rather than reusing an old message.

"We've sent too many sign-in emails." That's a temporary rate limit on our email service, not a problem with your account. The button shows a countdown; when it clears you can try again, or use Sign in with Apple to get in right away.

Habits or city not syncing

Storey saves everything to your account, so your city follows you to any iPhone you sign in on. When you're offline the app keeps working and queues your changes — you'll see an Offline — changes will sync when you're back banner above the tabs.

  1. Confirm you're online, then reopen the app. Queued changes push automatically.
  2. Check the Profile tab — a synced account shows your email and a ✓ Synced marker.
  3. If it still says Local after a minute on a good connection, sign out and back in with the same method you originally used.

Nothing is deleted by signing out. Your habits, streaks, and every story you've built live on your account, not on the device.

Reminders aren't arriving

Storey's reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. The app is fully usable without them, so nothing breaks if you'd rather not be nudged.

  1. Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Storey and make sure Allow Notifications is on. If permission is off, the Profile tab shows a banner with a shortcut straight there.
  2. Check that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing them at the time you picked.
  3. In the Profile tab, confirm reminders aren't paused and that the habit you're expecting actually has a reminder time set.

One thing that's intentional: Storey skips the reminder if you've already built that habit today. No nagging for work you've already done.

How the city works

Every habit you add breaks ground as its own building. Each day you mark that habit done lays a brick — a lit window. When you hit the weekly goal you set for it, the building tops out and a whole new story rises, permanently.

Miss a week and nothing is torn down. Buildings never shrink and never disappear; your city simply waits for you to build again. That's the whole point — the skyline is a record of what you kept, not a punishment for what you missed.

Free plan & Storey Pro

Storey is free, and the free plan tracks up to five habits — enough to raise a real skyline. Everything you build on the free plan is yours and stays yours.

Storey Pro is not on sale yet. It appears in the app as a preview of what's coming — unlimited habits, premium finishes, and the full Building Studio — with no price and nothing to buy. When it does launch it will be an optional subscription billed through your Apple ID, cancellable any time from Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Until then there is nothing to manage, restore, or cancel.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, without emailing anyone:

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

This is permanent and immediate. Your habits, completion history, city, and account record are removed from our servers — there is no recovery, so screenshot or note anything you want to keep first. If you'd rather just step away, Sign out (right above it) leaves everything intact.

Your data

No ads, no data sales, no cross-app tracking. Storey never asks for location permission — the weather in your skyline comes from a coarse, city-level lookup that is never stored or attached to your account.

The full details are in the Privacy Policy, and the rules of the road are in the Terms of Service.

Bugs & feature requests

Please send them. Email support@trystorey.com with what you expected, what happened instead, and a screenshot if you have one. Feature requests go to the same address — a lot of what's in Storey today started as someone's email.
